Inner tube extruding
The first step to produce silicone braid hose is extruding the inner tube. Normally we suggest our clients to make the wall thickness between 1-2mm. Because if the wall thickness is to thick, there will not be enough support force. Therefore, the soft hose may fall during the braiding procedure. For the inner tube, you can ask for extra properties like high temperature resistance, flame retardant and various colors. These special property is to use in special industries. For example, the inner tube could be black, transparent or other colors.
Wire braiding
After the extruding of inner tube, it’s to braid the fibre. General silicone braid hose can bear 1.2-3.8Mpa pressure. But sometimes clients ask for customized hose with negative pressure resistance and extra high pressure resistance. On this occasion, fibre can’t meet the requirements, so we absorb high strength braids like nylon wire. All the braiding process need a braiding machine which braid the wire regularly. Problem in each wire will cause braiding failure. Therefore, the braiding process becomes the most important part.
Outer cover extruding
Outer cover extruding is the last process of the production. It seems simple, but it’s a complex process. When inner tube and wire pass through the extruding machine, there may be air inside. Then, if continue the extruding, the hose may be rough. The solution is make the wall thickness a little thick. Thus the hose may shrink and exhaust the air. The successful extrude of outer cover means the finish of the whole production.
